Evidence and Gap Map

 

This  interactive evidence and gap map (EGM) synthesises 113 reviews on initial teacher education (ITE) and in-service teacher professional development (CPD), published between 1st January 2013 and 31st July 2025 included in the NIoT Evidence Toolkit.

This map shows the overall impact of a range of professional learning approaches on teacher and pupil outcomes by toolkit strand (e.g. Professional learning communities), segmented by professional level (e.g. initial teacher education).
